Squash

Radlett Squash is alive and very well. We boast 4 top class glass back squash courts, which are well used. Almost all squash members play in the monthly Box League - this is where each player organises a match against the other players in his/her box. There are 3 men's teams, consisting of teams in Herts League Division 1 and 3, and a Veterans team in the Herts/Middx League. Click on Home Matches to see fixture dates.

2008 Club Championships - click HERE for full report & photos.

Squash Coaching Professional squash coaching. Individual Radlett Squash Coach Derek Thorpe at workassessment and training needs profile, carried out on first visit. A full programme of your development can be made, or a few simple lessons arranged to sharpen up your game.

Social Squash (also called Club Squash) is available to members
and non-members on every other Monday and Sunday. Every
Wednesday morning 10-11am there is an organised Daytime Squash session open to Members and friends. Every other Sunday evening there is a Ladies Social Squash evening. Each month there is a fun squash tournament and once a year Club Championships. There are a number of active squash coaches, specialising in adults, ladies and juniors.

Squash - Club Championship 2007
RESULTS from Sunday 29th April

Players
The match season is upon us again and both 1st and 2nd teams are under new leadership.
Steve Barker captain of the 1st team is pleased to be able to turn out a team each week (bar one) and in a strong league notched up their first win last week.

Ian Taylor captain of the 2nd team is proud of the team spirit shown each week by his players although they are yet to win a match. He is expecting a few new people to play after Xmas and with more match experience hoping for an upturn in fortunes. STOP PRESS – 2nd team get first win!

The Vets team captained by Kyri Costi is playing well and are currently in the top half of their league.

Courts
I am pleased to advise that the annual court maintenance has taken place; lines repainted, holes in walls filled etc.
