Team Tennis

Team Tennis at Radlett

We enter teams into several leagues, which provide lots of opportunity for members to get involved and represent the club.

We currently have 3 teams in both the men’s and women’s sections of the Herts League, which is played during the summer at weekends. Each team fields 3 pairs, who all play each other, making 6 sets plus possible deciding tie-breaks.

During the week, we take part in the Watford & District League, where we have 3 men’s, 3 women’s and 2 mixed teams. These matches are played on weekday evenings in the summer and involve 3 pairs each playing 1 set against each of the opposing pairs.

Radlett also enters men’s and women’s teams in the National Club League, where players play both singles and doubles.

In the winter, Radlett enters teams into the various age groups of the Herts Vets League, starting at O40s for women, and O45s for men.
